The town

What Manilva is like.

Manilva is the last municipality before the coast turns towards Gibraltar. On the sea is San Luis de Sabinillas, a Spanish town with a promenade, a Friday market and a beach, and next to it the marina at La Duquesa, with its bars and restaurants and a sizeable community from the UK and Ireland. The village of Manilva sits above among the vineyards that give the area its grape festival each September.

Prices are lower here than anywhere between Marbella and Sotogrande. Life is quieter, Gibraltar is close for the airport and the shops, and Estepona is fifteen minutes up the road.
